Hello,
Question from france please. I would like to be sure of the definitition of those 3 poker expression (while organizing a tournament):

1) THE COLOR UP is, during a break, the general operation to replace the little chips not anymore useful by bigger chips - right ?
2) THE CHIP RACE is, during the color up, the last operation consisting in using cards to find who is gonna get the very last chips - right ?
3) THE CHIP UP is, during the game, the decision by the floors to replace the little chips stacks of some players by bigger chips - right ?

To be said: we KNOW how to do that all, it's just a question about the exact English VOCABULARY.

TY in advance!

The Chip Up, we don’t say this or do this, it’s not a thing. To Chip up just means your winning chips. We do say color up and Chip race-off.

TY for the reply!
OK so the #1 and #2 are the correct definitions right?
(the #3 we will call it the way you want but we do it a lot with the big stack players - and they like it)
