Is anyone else concerned with the convergence between cash and tourney play...ie the unlimited rebuys in tournaments...shorter clocks......i know they make it more profitable for the hosts but honestly the volality is changing the way poker is played and enjoyed...
Its more a crap shoot than before.

We don't need this kind of poker, it's like a marathon, sucking out money.

faster games are more like casino, advantage to the house. not because of the gameplay but they can complete more tournaments in shorter period. bad for poker lovers or serious players, not much time given to think for each hand. more errors and more loses 🤷‍♂️

Yeah, I get what you’re saying. The unlimited rebuys and turbo structures definitely make tournaments feel more like gambling than skill-based play. It’s great for the sites and casinos, but for players, it just increases variance like crazy. Feels like you either run hot early or you're just donating. I miss the deeper structures where actual poker skill mattered more.
