I used to fall asleep quite often during evening tournaments, especially when I was tired after a day at work and often fell asleep after a few beers. So now if I play tired, I definitely don't drink beer

No, never! If I am that tired that I can fall asleep in the break, I would not register in the first place. I have sometimes played until 4am and still never fallen asleep.
