I start as usual, play with concentration and patience, don't play with junk, watch my opponents' actions closely and take notes.

You can’t really play either of these options you suggest.
Ideally you should be playing Tight Aggressive regardless, and only making slight adjustments for the fact it’s a bounty tournament.
Early game the bounties are small, and therefore so should the adjustments be, but later if you’re still in, and a bounty is worth more in comparison to the buy in you can raise and call wider as the reward is greater!

Tank tournaments are aggressive in themselves, because you can't survive there for long without aggression.
The tournament itself is usually faster because players are fighting for a knockout. This is what makes this style of play so attractive.
