Both have pros and cons. A big one has a bigger prize, but it's harder to win. A smaller one is the opposite.

I don't have time or patience to play for extremely long periods,

a small tourney or a cash game is perfect👍

I was never afraid of big tournaments for that is the place where poker players make theyr debut and grow! Having the feeling of beating 2k people and finishing in the first players is a story by itself to tell. So for me big tournament all the way. Its a good place where you can test your strategy. I find small games, too easy to win if you use a poker hud and track / get to know your players.

My favorites are in the 200-400 players so not super big. Payouts get better with more players.

I prefer tournaments with few people, big tournaments with a large number of players I only play once a week on Sundays, it takes a lot of time, I prefer to play more small tournaments with few players.

The more people, the more prize money and the more chances to get to the ITM. I prefer big tournaments, they are more promising in my opinion.

Big tournaments are better to play because they obviously have more prizes. But for players who are short on time, there are tournaments that don't last long, such as spin and go tournaments or Blast tournaments. Although in general, the faster the tournament, the more luck will play a role in it.

I would choose a big one with many players , I am lured by big prizepools . But I think the right answer might be the small ones , small tournaments, not 100% sure

Large tournaments have a large number of people and many prizes. Small tournaments have a small number of people and few prizes. What is my choice?
Of course, large tournaments with a large number of people and a large number of prizes. The choice is obvious. If I have little time, I don't look for a quick tournament, I just go for a smoke break.

The advantages of large micro-limit tournaments are that it's easier to get into prizes and win back the buy-in, you can play carefully and simply let other players fly out before the prizes.

if you want to win significant amounts of money, you'd better play satellites to qualify for bigger tournaments and when you hit you'll have a bigger bankroll, it's good to play in the bankroll but you still have to try at higher stakes

I completely agree with you, I can't play a tournament for 8 hours

yes, but when you play satellites it takes time and you get exhausted, and like the main tour on the same day you can play it not to the maximum

One table sit and go's were my favorite format. Another reason why I want to get away from only playing on 888. Blast sucks and mtt's take too long.

I love a SNG for the relatively short time needed to play, but I also enjoy sitting down and getting my teeth into a longer non-turbo MTT. Obviously due to the time, I don't get to play these as much.

Personally, I like large tournaments of less than 1,000 people, clearly online, with a stipulated time and with rest intervals that usually last more than two hours. I like these types of tournaments and not the small ones because the players tend to get desperate and play very aggressively, which leads to a large number of players eliminated quickly and thus it is usually easier to make decisions. In addition, in these types of tournaments the distribution of prizes is greater and you are more likely to be a winner. Even if it's minimal, but you are winning something if you get further to the final table and the prizes are much higher and can make your week.
