$109 Ticket at 888 Poker – Which Tournament Should I Play?

I've been an online poker player for about a year now, mainly grinding freerolls on 888poker and Replay Poker. Recently, I won a $109 ticket during a Twitch stream giveaway!

So far, my biggest poker achievement has been winning a CardsChat Freeroll for $65, finishing 1st out of 2,008 players. Now I have a chance to play in a bigger tournament and potentially hit an even bigger cash!

I’m trying to decide which tournament would give me the best shot at a decent cash-out. These are the options available:
$5000 PKO Rumble_________53 7 itm +13 bounty 3:36
$7000 Daily Gems PKO_____73 12 itm +19 bounty 5:12
$2000 Big shot______________26 4 itm 4:10
$2500 Late Big shot_________32 6 itm
$100000 Mystery Bounty main event ___ estimated 1000 players, 180 places paid + bounties

Which one would you recommend I play? My primary goal is to maximize my chances of cashing out

I would definitely choose this one, as it seems to me to be the most promising

This tournament is going to attract the largest number of recreational players to it.

You should play the tournament in which you feel most comfortable, based on blind structures, number of players, etc.

You must play a tournament that will not affect your pocket so that you can play well and comfortably. Try to use the bankroll rules

It depands of you level of poker i would say.If your very good and often cash 55$+ tourney i would go for the mystery bounty.But if your usually playing much lower games and gonna be outplay in a 109$ i would advice you to choose a pko cause at least you can get a return when you bust people rigth away when for the mystery bounty you will either cash and get some mystery bounty or just came out empty handed if u dont reach ITM.

Off course if your goal is to have a chance of a very big score the main event is the one where the money is but gonna be very fn hard to reach those later stage ^^.

It will be my FIRST tournament with a higher buy-in of $3.
So I have no idea how I will perform. Most probably bad...

So then i strongly advice you to do a normal PKO since the main event gonna be a long and grueling tourney to even get ITM with super long late reg and if use to freeroll switching to 109$ you will definitly see that it play much different bet sizing and agression wise.

On a normal PKO you will have a chance to get bounty rigth away and still will be able to get a very good return if you ever go far with a less big field wich is definitly more achievable.

everyone is recommending $100000 Mystery Bounty main event ___ estimated 1000 players, 180 places paid + bounties , but i would not recommend that tournament because you need to run hot and win multiple flips to be able to build stack and knockout ppl at ITM phase and take some bounties , i would recommend to go in a 2000$ big shot is a fine if you go for first place . So if you take to play that tournament like a nit you will maybe take a itm place but then ppl with monster stack will bust you. thats my opinnion you dont need to listen to me

7K Pko is the best option within these tournaments, less variance and greater chance of getting a regular prize or with bountys

$100000 Mystery Bounty is the highest variance pick. The bigger the field, the more luck you need to cash in.

I have always answered wanted to play the tourneys withe highest gtd prize when I had high buy in tickets to play on pokerstars . Also on 888 poker some low buy in tickets . But on these tourneys I think it's harder to be itm in comparison to some others with less prizes , fewer participants , games of not for much interest for them . That's my feeling .

The bankroll rules are not that simple. I think that if you are playing with a certain amount, and your mood is not affected if you lose, then you may be automatically applying the bankroll rules. But if the matter becomes painful or leads to annoyance or anger, then the bankroll rules become an essential key to poker strategies.

Based on your post and your goal of at least cashing, I would suggest the 7K PKO daily gems, less variance and the best chance at getting any piece of the prize pool, if you're going to play the 100K Mystery bounty and want to play it optimally, you should be hunting the mystery bounties fairly wide once they kick in and might find yourself in a tough spot, but then again you might also hit the jackpot. I played the 100K Mystery Bounty tournament. Unfortunately, I didn’t make it to the final table, but I had some great luck and managed to cash about $1,000. Feeling like a pro right now!

everything but a vanilla tourney. I would choose a Mistery bounty or a PKO. chances are higher that you get a least a bounty

When I played at 888 Poker, I won a lot of $109 tickets, my first advice is to analyze the hours, if you have time to play at those times, the speed of the blinds, that was the first thing I did, I generally liked it. Playing the slow and KO tournaments, the mystery bountys are very good, you just have to wait longer to have a chance to win bountys and the pokerrumble is also good because if you eliminate players from the beginning you can win something of money

generally when we play tournaments like this with these tickets we must play PSK tournaments to have a chance at turning this ticket into money, and play tournaments with high guarantees that attract more recreational players, when we play a vanilla (regular) tournament our chances are lower of winning some money .
Always avoid playing tournaments with short fields with these tickets as they concentrate better players and see your profitability greatly decrease.
