And I had an interesting hand to close round 1. The people playing the other round 1 match are taking forever, so I thought I'd post the hand on here for you all to see.

Seat 1: Joshyb20 (2,320)
Seat 2: Warborn (680)
Warborn posts the small blind of 10
Joshyb20 posts the big blind of 20
The button is in seat #2
*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to Joshyb20 [8s 7d]
Warborn raises to 40
Joshyb20 calls 20
*** FLOP *** [2d 7s 7c]
Joshyb20 checks
Warborn bets 80
Joshyb20 calls 80
*** TURN *** [2d 7s 7c] [2h]
Joshyb20 checks
Warborn checks
*** RIVER *** [2d 7s 7c 2h] [2s]
Joshyb20 bets 560
Warborn calls 560, and is all in
*** SHOW DOWN ***
Joshyb20 shows [8s 7d] (a full house, Sevens full of Twos)
Warborn mucks
Joshyb20 wins the pot (1,360) with a full house, Sevens full of Twos

Wasn't the best played hand I've ever done, but I thought I'd stick it out there to see if he'd take the bait. Sure enough.... I'm sure he thought I was bluffing at it, and since he had to conserve every chip he could, he just thought he'd split and save some instead of giving them away. Well... Of course, I was gambling that he didn't have the 2. However, as tight as he was playing I'm sure he wouldn't have raised anything preflop with x-2, so I was positive I was safe. One day, however, these other guys will finish up and I can get back to playing....

Nicely done Joshy. You made a good read on him and took advantage of the situation. :icon_thum

I think you played this just right to get optimal results. The third 2 on the river was a bit worrisome, but like you said, he probably wouldn't have raised (even minimumally--sp?) if he has a deuce. Nice win.

LMAOOOOOOOO! That is so funny. I had typed it that way originally. OMG--I've contracted George W. Itus! I don't know how or why this is happening to me...but my guess is that it must be subliminable.
