I get much more aggressive though never really get a stack. Some risky moments round the bubble and a happy(ish) ending.

I sucked out here big style.
I have a stab preflop and check the flop looking to see the turn. Pikstar has made a move on so many pots I feel he is using position to try and take this with a pot sized bet. I feel this is time to gamble and so push based on my read crediting him with Jx at best, his full range being AK, AQ, AJ, 77-TT. I can't see him betting JJ-AA so big here.
I'm very wrong and he's obviously betting to defend against draws with his TPTK. He's played it well I suck out. That's pokery.

Yes you read that correctly.
The money was only 15 away at this point and I'm under pressure from the blinds.
I didn't want to push preflop as I felt he had a big range to call (aggressive loose player) and I wouldn't be in good shape, if I min raise he pushes and I have to call, which is ugly. The call preflop gives me a chance to get away preflop and hopefully lets him check.
I check the flop because I wouldn't bet an ace and to bet says I haven't got one.
The turn I bet in a kind of weird continuation/defensive bet. I think he has to call regardless but probably raises anything that beats me.
The river is a pot-sized push from me, if the second 7 helped him I'm toast but he hasn't got an ace he'd have woken up on the turn and to be honest I think I just confused him. Would have cost $400 had it gone wrong and I'd have felt like a tool going out with K high

I sucked out here big style.
I have a stab preflop and check the flop looking to see the turn. Pikstar has made a move on so many pots I feel he is using position to try and take this with a pot sized bet. I feel this is time to gamble and so push based on my read crediting him with Jx at best, his full range being AK, AQ, AJ, 77-TT. I can't see him betting JJ-AA so big here.
I'm very wrong and he's obviously betting to defend against draws with his TPTK. He's played it well I suck out. That's pokery.

Yes you read that correctly.
The money was only 15 away at this point and I'm under pressure from the blinds.
I didn't want to push preflop as I felt he had a big range to call (aggressive loose player) and I wouldn't be in good shape, if I min raise he pushes and I have to call, which is ugly. The call preflop gives me a chance to get away preflop and hopefully lets him check.
I check the flop because I wouldn't bet an ace and to bet says I haven't got one.
The turn I bet in a kind of weird continuation/defensive bet. I think he has to call regardless but probably raises anything that beats me.
The river is a pot-sized push from me, if the second 7 helped him I'm toast but he hasn't got an ace he'd have woken up on the turn and to be honest I think I just confused him. Would have cost $400 had it gone wrong and I'd have felt like a tool going out with K high
