Pre flop: I pick up J8 suited diamonds in the BB . I only have 10bb . Mp just limps and the BU also limps. Now it’s on me I only have 10bb and 50 players away from the money. Top 50 gets paid .but if I double up I have a good chance to make the money. But I am playing to win. This was what I was thinking. I just checked . Maybe I shove but I think checking was the best option.please give your option.

FLOP: 2od Jos 9oh I have top pair. This is where I think I missed played. I just checked for deception. Maybe just shove and it would be a equity denial bet I guess I went with the riskiest option. Mp checks and the bu checks.

Turn: Aod which gives me a flush draw . I am thinking or maybe I should have thought a little longer because I just shoved when I saw the A . I think it was tilt because I slow played my J and now I got punished for that. I know someone had a A.but I had a pair and a flush draw with 10bb .

Summary: I should have shoved on the flop. And check the turn. But if I checked the turn and get shoved on what do I do?

Multiway your hand is marginal, ideally you want to get it to show down without bloating the pot, you can check or bet small for value and some protection. Shoving the flop would be a mistake for the same reason shoving the turn was.

Check turn, call small bet (especially if you checked flop) fold to larger bet (half pot+)

As played you let opponents play perfectly vs you. They get to fold all worse hands you could get value from and call all hands that are beating you.

The shove needed to happen on the flop, as you already noted. As played, pretty bad to shove with a third best flush draw when already dominated by any ace.

you waited to late for the shove, you let the turn hit someone with a higher card, you were doomed. Dont know if he would of called before the turn. It was dicey either way

You shoved with 30% equity vs V's hand not great but also you shoved in a spot that seldom gets value it mostly just gets worse to fold. rule of thumb---Most of the time when we shove we want to be able to be called and be ahead of something in this case it would be flush draws no pair---would a flush draw call a shove?--- whenever we are never ahead we should only be shoving because they cannot call---that is not this spot.

Preflop
Totally fine to see a free flop with this hand. I would not expect enough fold equity against two opponents to want to jam this.

Flop
Its a limped pot, so there is no such thing as naturally checking to the preflop raiser. For that reason I would lead out at this flop. Your top pair meh kicker is likely the best hand, and there are a lot of outs, they can have between them, so your hand benefit quite a bit from protection. Obviously you could be behind, but with a stack to pot ratio of only 2, I am not really looking to get away from this hand. So if someone raise, I am willing to get it in.

Turn
Now you picked up a draw, but at the same time you are now behind to any hand with an ace in them. So you have a combination of a somewhat weak made hand and a draw, and that kind of hand should typically be played as a pull rather than a push. Meaning you should check with intention to call any sort of reasonable bet. Sometimes having the best hand, if they are bluffing, and otherwise having equity with your draw.

Instead you jam, and I really dont like that play. You are basically turning your hand into a bluff, since you are unlikly to get action from any hand, you are still ahead of. But you are also unlikely to get any better hands to fold. So this jam basically makes sure, you end up playing for all your chips, when you are behind and only win a small pot, when you are still ahead.
