This is more for a bad beat story. I had raised pre rather than shoving the 17bb in the hopes of getting some action I could shove on. I did. When I saw that 2x AK, I was tickled that they were cancelling each other's outs. Well, I was right... I didn't lose to an A or a K.

Obviously with QQ and 17 BBs we are looking to get the chips in on this hand. I think it depends on table image here of what I think others think of me on whether I open jam or just open. If people think I am splashy or a maniac (which is rarely the case for my image) then I would open jam. Otherwise, I would open as you did and rarely look to fold if ever unless there was some big ICM implication.

In this hand we get what we want with the 3 bet which we then would be looking to jam over. However, a cold 4 happens and would scare me at first glance from the BB but in looking at it, they have a stack of 25 BBs after posting and face a 65k bet. They should have no calling range here imo. So it does not necessarily mean they always have a monster here. Starting with QQ and 17 BBs I dont think we can fold here (a mistake I used to make in the past) so I think this is a call as you make and hope we win the hand. It didnt run out well but a nice scenario where you faced double AK.

Small detail but with a stack of 15-25BB we typically want to just min-raise or maybe do a fancy 2,1-2,2BB raise, if we have a button for that.
