I am still relatively new to ACR Poker compared to pokerstars, but I already notice some clear differences in player pool tendencies. And one of them is, that players on ACR Poker love to slowplay. Or more specifically the american players love to slowplay. I am not sure, why this is, but maybe they have watched to much footage with Phil Helmuth? Anyways here is an example from a $6.6 8-man SnG, where the slowplay went spectacularly wrong for my opponent :)

The river completed the straight for you, after the slow play. If he was more aggressive I guess you would have folded!

He should have check-raised the flop and im honestly not a big fan of ur flop bet since this is the perfect board to see a turn card for free.

Worked out great for u this time 🙂

It would certainly not be crazy to take a free card. I was multitabling, and did not think deeper about it than having a gutshot and no current showdown value. But this particular hand could not pick up additional outs on the turn, which we kind of want with our bluffs. So it basically always ends up as a "one-and-done" stab. On the other side it is my experience that the population on ACR is on the passive side and actually will often check-fold the flop after limping in from SB, while they will rarely check-raise, which in this case would have blown me off my equity.

Definitely a wonderful move to jam for SPR 2.5 on the river.

Definitely makes worse hands call and betters fold. 🤣

Yeah if he is going to arrive to the river like this, then all-in is hardly the most optimal bet size. A lot of my range will be weak one pair hands, that checked back turn for pot control, and those have an easy decision to fold, when he bet 2,5 times the size of the pot :)
