First hand of my opponent at my table :) I can't remember his stats from the GG hud. :)

My first question for you all is given my stack how do you play here pre-flop? Do you call, 3-bet or shove?

My opinion is that I should shove here, but calling I do not think is bad ( it just limits me and I'm looking for a 6 on the flop. )

GGPoker, Hold'em No Limit - 400/800 (120 ante) - 8 players

BU: 10,441 (13 bb)
SB: 20,303 (25 bb)
BB (Hero): 15,038 (19 bb)

Pre-Flop: (2,160) Hero is BB with 6 6
4 players fold, CO raises to 1,600, 2 players fold, Hero calls 800

Flop:
(4,560) K K 5 (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets 2,280, BB (Hero) ?

My second question is: What is your next move?

I think I should have called, but I decided to play it safe and wait for a better hand since I'm still left with 16bb. But I still think that the better option is to shove preflop since we still have a long way until the money places.
(Hero) folds[/i][/color]

Total pot: 4,560
CO wins 4,560

I do not know where we are in the tournament and without looking at the spoilers but my first idea would be to 3-bet jam my 6s for 19 BBs effective in this late position confrontation. 🤔

As played, I think one call on the flop is mandatory since most players cbet. But I'd fold to further aggression on turn/river.

Edit:
After looking at the spoilers, I think it's also ok to take the 1 BB set mine and then fold if no 6 on flop.

Preflop
Small pairs play very poorly out of position with short stacks, since on most boards you will miss your set and have overcards making it easy for the preflop raiser to bluff you out of the pot. So unless I know something about the opponent, or its right on the bubble, I would jam here.

Flop
This is one of the best flops for 66 other than flopping a set, so its definitly not a fold. If you just call, you are going to hate most turn cards, and you will only have 11k left in a 9k pot. So if I got here like this, I would check-jam, especially against someone with a high flop C-bet number. I know, you did not have this information, but in other hands you might, and then it would matter.

I plugged the hand into GTO wizard with the simplification, that I selected MTT 20BB. This should however be very close, since it was heads-up, and Hero was the effective stack with 19BB. The program only fold unsuited junk to a CO min-raise, or more specifically 15,8% of hands. 68,8% of hands are called. 14,3% of hands jam, and that basically include all the pairs except AA and sometimes KK, which prefer to make a small 3-bet or just call as a slowplay. So jamming preflop is definitely the GTO play and should be our default.
