Hello all, been a long time didn't post anything cause of some life concerns. lets get into it

Preflop, I was holding A K and faced an all-in from my opponent, also holding AK suited. I called, knowing it was a standard cooler situation.

The board ran out
7♦ 3♦ 2♦ on the flop, giving me a flush draw, followed by the 8♥ on the turn. On the river, I hit the 5♦, completing the Ace-high flush to win the hand.

Do you think this win was mostly luck, or would you make the same call in this spot? Would anyone ever fold AK here?

Watch the hand live.

Congratulations, I had the same situation live recently in a €300 tournament 30 mins before the day breaks for day 2 but unfortunately I was on the losing side of the AK v AK situation

You were not facing an all-in from your opponent. The opponent had 3-bet, and then you made a cold 4-bet jam for 26BB effective and a bit more against players behind you. This is a standard play and of course a lucky outcome for you.
