Same tournament as before and still no info on the players this being the 3rd hand of the tournament.

When it comes to you do you 4-bet here JJ or calling is ok? How would you play this scenario?

(I decided to just call since I do not think that the players would fold and if more then 1 call and AKQ comes on the flop I am pretty much F**, but if I do 4-bet I really say that I have AA, KK, QQ, JJ, AK )

So deep I think JJ is never a 4-bet, call is fine, see it more like setting up a trap if you hit your set on a dry board for the set.
If you are in need of chips so 20 bbish or less it can be a 4-bet (mostly you are pot committed) but depends on the player you are playing.

I think the right move is a fold, unless SB is very aggressive. Does he 3bet an UTG raise with TT? Does he do it with AJ? For most players, the answers are 'no', and 'no', respectively, which means you're never ahead here.

If SB is a strong player with bluffs in their range, then you can play the hand, and I guess that since you have position on SB, calling is better than 4betting? Would be a very rare case where cold-calling a 3bet is okay. But against most players, I think folding is the play.

It would be an unusual spot for SB to be 3-betting light, since its an UTG open. So I think, Kdmentor has a point, we could even consider a fold here, although it does seem quite tight. And I definitely prefer calling over 4-betting, since I dont want to face a 5-bet with JJ this deep playing against two strong ranges. As played the flop fold is standard.

Deep stack games are always more difficult and little studied.
my opinion on the hand and how I would play it.
JJ deep is the fourth best hand in poker I think it's very fair to go strong and fold if they react, playing by call we are playing a very strong hand like a 22 I think we lost a lot of value and with the 4bet we showed a lot of strength from the big blind expelling hands and we were able to more accurately analyze the spot vs 1 opponent and analyze the flop.
But let's see what the solver says!

solver below likes to FOLD with JJ, and call with QQ and a frequency of 4bet.
The hands he likes to 4bet are AA, KK, AK being the top ones.
showing that in deep stack tournaments we must play cautiously at the beginning of the tournament.
in short FOLD JJ preflop
