The sample size of the stats is of course quite small, so don't mean that much but I'd not want to risk 40% of my stack this deep with AQo against an opponent who might be on the tight end.

So I'd fold here.

Your raise is way to large. If you opened from BTN or CO, you would probably not go larger than 2,5BB. So why go to 4,5BB, when you raise from BB over a SB limp? A raise to 3BB is large enough to get folds from some of his weak holdings and value, when he call with a worse hand than AQ. Your sizing mistake matter, because it kind of set him up to jam rather than make a small 3-bet. Normally we are certainly not looking to fold AQ in a blind vs. blind confrontation. But we are also not looking to get it in pre for 50 bigs. So as played its kind of close and it depends on, how much his bounty is worth not in dollars but in chips.

To calculate the value of his bounty we need to know the starting stack of the tournament, since a minimum bounty is basically worth 1/4 of the starting stack. If the starting stack was 5.000 chips, the bounty is worth 1.250 chips, which is pretty insignificant, when you have to risk 18.600 to call. So in that case I might fold thinking, that this is rarely a hand, AQ is ahead of. However if the starting stack was 25.000 chips, then his bounty was worth 6.250 chips, and in that case I think, you have enough equity against his range to make a slightly profitable call.

A quick way to decide in these spots is to ask would the V shove any of these AJ AT A5s KQs KJs and more- if yes then we can call if no then folding is the better play for future game.

Another good question to ask ourselves is what did my bet sizing indicate to my V---most V are not playing GTO so they react to your sizing which is large for playing 50bb eff.
So did your V think you were weak and would fold or did they think you were strongish say AQ and would call and therefore are shoving AK KK QQ here?

In your player pool do your V know how tight they need to be when covered in a PKO?
