It was on a final table, I had two smaller chips so I didn't say allin, there is a difference between the money here, what would have been the correct play, could it have been folded?

you have played correctly, any person will play like this in a normal game.

There is an other option: If you want to put pressure on small stakes who are behind you, you should save your chips and defend your blinds with good hands.

As played we have to fold the flop---Just calling preflop means we were trying to hit our hand and go all-in with it we missed fold--
Over limping the KQoff is not the best choice based on this Final table dynamic--the huge stack is yet to act the SB has us covered the limper can have a strong hand and the BB can shove for 1/3 our stack.

KQoff is not a strong hand in an ICM spot- Our actions without specific reads in this spot should be 1 Fold 2 all-in 3 raise to 2.5 4 call
