On the flop I made a stab, just like how I would make a cbet after raising preflop. Maybe that wasn't such a good idea, because he doesn't fold a lot on the flop, but, on the other hand, he folds a lot on the river after I show strength the streets before.
He almost always bets the flop (80%) so this check, which is a different play than he usually goes with, could mean two things. Or he's really strong and wants me to hit something on a later street that I can call him with; or he's planning to check call and re-evaluate on a later street (which he usually does when he is in position and I bet).
On the turn I hit a 6 and am quite convinced I'm good here. He could have a K, but I think there is more chance he's just floating with air (anything close to a hand he bets), so I decided to shoot a second barrel. The fact that he checks again, makes me think more that he doesn't have anything. I have not been aggressive at all, because of his stationing, and if he has a hand, there would be a big chance he's losing a lot of value against me.
He calls again, but once again, he almost never folds the turn.
The river makes the chance that he doesn't have anything even bigger.
On top of that, he might think the same and call me down with an A or even a Q.
He usually folds the river against a bet or raise, so I decided to go with a slightly bigger bet, in case he has an A and wants to call; but not too big, so I can still fold if he puts me all in (even though I'm not sure if I could fold here, with half of my stack in the pot and a decent hand, but I have the impression he doesn't bluff the river that much).
So, these were my thoughts during this hand.
Any idea's about it? If I made a thinking mistake, please let me know.
