I'm quite certain Oregon, Stanford, or Clemson could give Bama a good game. In conference, LSU is capable of beating Bama, but outside of them only Georgia, which would have to be a conference champ. game since they don't meet in the regular season. There is a lot of mushy scheduling in the SEC, the top teams need to play one another more often.

Now on to the point I certainly hope that Alabama doesn't win again. Ten years ago the Bama hats and flags were a scarcity and now they are everywhere. Bama fans are obnoxious enough now with 3 of 4 but at least that has been done recently. If they go 4 of 5 we will never hear the end of it.

they are pretenders did not even deserve to be in the last 2 championship games. 2 years ago they got in and didnt werent even good enough to play in their own conference championship game. if they ever play a team like oregon they will be exposed for the pretenders they are. ducks by 30

LoL poor delusional pac-10 supporter. I will say at least the Ducks didn't embarrass themselves when they tried to dethrone the SEC but it was against the weakest entry we have had in the last 7 years so not a big feat there.
Oregon would be lucky to win 7 games in the SEC as would ANY other team in the nation outside of the conference.

OMG you are insane. The Pac-12 is so weak. Have they ever had 7-8 teams ranked in the top 25 which the SEC has consistently had over the past decade. One good run by USC over a decade ago and all of the sudden it is a good conference?
There is a reason why the Championship game is so one-sided most of the time because once the SEC representative gets there they have already played the best teams in the country so whatever pitiful opponent the BCS serves up is no match.
And this year will be no different the real BCS championship game is the SEC title game.

for starters they did get beat last year and had no business being in the championship game. as for this year , lets start with Ohio state, and then move on to Stanford, and then hope that it comes down to Oregon and the tide in the championship game which Oregon will win by 30 and expose the politcal bcs garbage that keeps bama going to the championship game they dont deserve to be inWill this be another year that Bama wins it all again to make it three in a row ? sigh! yea have been hearing this for years and every year the team anointed the savior to ending the SEC's reign falls flat(I am talking to you Ohio State, Notre Dame, Texas, and yes Oregon)
as far as the team that went without winning the conference title. They went AND the conference champ went so its not that shady two best teams played.
After this year it will be 8 in a row(but hopefully not Bama) and if any other conference even achieves half of that mark I will never mention it again.
Plus when the playoff system starts it will be MORE likely 2 SEC teams meet in the championship game as most years will undoubtedly have 2 of the 4 teams represented by the SEC and that ratio will only skew more as more games are added in later years.(and there will be more games added).

This scenario wasn't happening. If Notre Dame had lost a game(which they could have easily lost multiples) the team that would have ended up in the championship game with Alabama was Florida which also didn't make it to the conference title game but could have easily been the best team in the country last year which is what the BCS is supposed to be 2 best teams despite conference.
