I think the lack of players from the NHL is the problem of the players themselves. The Olympiad is held every four years and not everyone gets the opportunity to participate. The teams are formed from those who are ready. But even among some national teams there are young, promising players who are hungry for victories and are more motivated than the stars.:ridinghor

17 year old Juraj Slafkovský (Slovakia) was recognized as the most valuable hockey player of the Olympic Games.

As a result of the tournament, I can say that Finland deservedly won. I'm surprised that Russia was able to reach the final. I was very pleased with the Slovakian team.
