What NBA team should I like?

I haven't had an NBA team since the Vancouver Grizzlies moved in 2001. I live in Cincinnati, but they don't have a team. I recently adopted my first favorite hockey team, Vegas Golden Knights, and now I'm looking to adopt a favorite NBA team. I'm not a bandwagon fan, so preferably not the Cavs or Warriors. Kobe was my favorite player, but I will not adopt the Lakers as my team. Any ideas?

There are some others "Superteams" this year, at West Coast in particular :
- OKC, with Westbrook, Paul George and Anthony (should be entertaining);
- Houston, with Harden, Chris Paul and nice lieutenants as Gordon and Anderson;
- Minnesota, one of the greatest 5 (Towns, Wiggins, Teague, Gibson and Butler)

And at the East, some safe values like Washington and Toronto...

This year should be amazing!

At least, this season begins with no undefeated teams and no team with an undefinite losing streak... But still it should be hard for the Kings and the Mavs at West, and Atlanta and Chicago (thx to Portis... ^^ ) at East

Warriors, OKC, Houston, Memphis, Pelicans, Wolves, Jazz & Spurs
1st to 8th east :
Cavs, Celtics, Hornets, Milwaukee, Toronto, Magic, Washington & Pacers

Depends on what you like.

If you like arrogant dudes who are the best and they know it Warriors are team for you.
If you like drama all season long and a team with a lot of haters and doubter that get proves wrong every post season then the Cavs are your team.
If you like a million three pointers and fast pace then Rockets.
If you looking for some young talented guys that will be good for next few years Bucks, Timberwolves Celtics and Sixers.
If you like a good solid team that would make playoff beat a lot of people but has no chance against top teams then Clippers, Raptors, Wizards, Trailblazers, Nuggets.
If you like team ball and watching a good system then Spurs.
If you like a hardworking sort of a blue collar team then Mephis.
If you want to see a 7 2" big beat guards of the dribble shoot 3s block shots and shake and bake people in the post then Knicks are for you maybe Sixers too.
If you want to see three stars try to figure out how to win then OKC.
If you want tp support a franchise that have don't have a clue what they are doing and make dumb decisions all the time- Suns, Nets, Kings, Mavs, Knicks, Hawks, Bulls.

Atlanta Hawks. Ok I'm kidding, but I'm really hoping that they can rebuild soon. They have potential if they can get just a few good pieces to add to their team. Schroeder is improving each season!

Kobe had some success with Gasol after that, but since they tried a lot a players not very succesfully... : C.Boozer , D.Howard , Luol Deng , now Brook Lopez (which is under his career stats so far..)
Hope that they will rise for real!

I like the Celtics because I'm from New England

I think you should go with you're home team, so Cavs, who cares if it's a bandwagon team, be real about it and it won't matter

Or like whatever team you're favorite player is on

When I was younger I played hockey, then we lost the whalers, my favorite player at the time was Brett Hull so I just started watching the Blues and rooting for them
