I want to express my admiration and respect for the Cricket Australia administration who have today publicly announced that they will not reduce the 12 month bans for Cameron Bancroft, Steve Smith and David Warner.
It shows integrity on the part of the authorities to stick to their initial decisions to enforce what will be the final 4 months of the ban and it would have been easy to take the soft option and let the 3 cheats return early.

Punishment was too harsh but that's just my opinion.

Will be nice to Smith and Warner play again fully. They played in CPL this year looked rusty and out of sorts mostly.

The original decision should never have been questioned. They deserved what they got, imho at that level it should have been a lifetime ban. Ordinary people bet on those games and expect it to be clean, I have no time for the privileged few that wallow in greed.
