Has anyone watched this series on Hulu? Joe and I watched it and really like it. Now I want to keep up with how the team is doing. I guess the show was pretty popular because one of their games was on WSPN2 this weekend.

I will be watching them closing this year!

If you haven't watched the show you should - it was fun and easy to watch with the short episodes.

My brother was at the first Wrexham friendly when Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds came onto the pitch to introduce themselves - apparently it was met with massive applause and also a faulty PA system and pitch microphone which cut out as they introduced themselves and spoke a little bit of welsh (americanised versions);)

My husband is half Welsh - so I have convinced him to take me to Wrexham in April when we go to England. His mother is Welsh so hopefully she will be up for a trip back there with us.

What part of Wales does his family originate from Debi? My family are from North Wales, a small village named LLanberis in the beautiful area of Snowdonia.

I like the story though think Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds are basically clueless except for the self promotion. That said, spotlight on a small club...all good.

What I do love is the fact that Dragon's striker Paul Mullin wanted to wear 'F*** the Tories' written on his boots. He's been stopped from doing so but that alone means wear that Dragons sweatshirt with pride.

By the by, Haralabos Voulgaris, ex high stakes poker player, ex sports better and Dallas Mavericks statistician (and currently seen reemerging on the Hustler Casino stream) now owns DC Castellon in the Spanish third tier.

Enjoy the series. Thanks for letting us know, Debi.

Finished watching it a couple of days ago. Inspiring story and certainly quite a roller coaster, as it tends to be, really.

One thing that caught my attention, even at the end of the season they (Ryan and Rob) didn't quite know the rules yet. :D

I really enjoyed the series and the insight into running a lower division soccer team. Also, loved how they expanded into history of soccer, good and bad, and the history of Wrexham. Can't wait for the next season airs!

Once you get your head around the fact that it's made by Americans for an American audience, and some of it is over-simplified (or even dumbed down) I can forgive the little bits and pieces that would otherwise irk me.

It is an interesting project, but I’m still not sure of the motives or what they get from it. I’d be intrigued to know how they’re future proofing the club, what will it look like should they leave? What are their ambitions? Simply saying getting promoted isn’t ambition, every club says that.

Got my Wrexham sweatshirt! We are going to England to visit family in April and will be doing a day trip to Wrexham. Will be fun to visit the places in the show. My mother in law is Welsh though she has lived in England most of her life. We will also visit a castle that day. I am excited!
