Tickets are going to be really hard to come by for the first couple of years given the novelty of NHL hockey in Las Vegas. But, like all other expansion teams before them, at some point, they will have to build a winning product to have fans continue to come out to watch. But, given that people flock to Las Vegas year-round, a lot of tickets will be bought by people that are in town for whatever they are there for.
I know if I was to go to LV during the hockey season, I would want to catch a game regardless of who the opponent is.
It will be interesting to see how it's not going to draw interest, but how it''s going to keep the interest because as the old adage goes, it's not easy to sell, but it's much more difficult to retain that customer.
