That one scene seems to say it all for the British and winter sports. Just shouldn't bother. Not that there isn;t any interest in competing, or that there isn't any talent, it's just that there's insufficient financial backing.
Thoroughly enjoyable to watch in the end, and I was rooting for canada all the way (got family there). And one hell of a finish with the men's ice hockey match. Damn near crapped myself when the USA tied and forced an extra game.
