Broke the record for most desicions, early stoppage in the main event. What did you think of it? No big upsets imo, however I was rooting for faber and with that loss I don't see him getting title shot anytime soon (if ever again). :(

yeah it was a pretty boring card imo.

main event stoppage was kind of early but faber was clearly rocked and got hit hard multiple times before all the blocked hammer fists(lol).

I figure faber will be back fighting for another title soon.

Only saw the main card, got spared the undercard.

Thought Trujillo-Varner was one of those entertaining fights that probably took a couple of years off each guy's lifespan.

I was impressed with how measured Overeem was in his fight, hopefully bodes well for his future. Though if he could improve his cardio so he doesn't HAVE to be so measured just to survive 15 minutes that'd be good.

Really enjoyed the Aldo fight, guy is a beast. Though I can see how 25 minutes of standup without a finish might not have been everyone's cup of tea.

Disappointed that Barao-Faber got cut short. If the opening few minutes were any indication, Faber would have needed a lot of luck to get up.

I loved how aldo fought too.. he fights like he's on another level! I hope he moves to 155 and fights pettis (I think aldo would win). Now that gsp retired and silva pretty much can't reclsim the title and was dethroned I could see aldo becoming g.o.a.t if he moves up and cleans the division

IMO, it was one of the worst UFC's ever. I don't think UFC 170 will be much better.

I wouldn't call it the worst, there were a lot of very good ones lately tho.. 2 worse one in late memory would be 161 (henderson vs evans) and 163 (aldo vs korean zombie) imo. Ufc 170 will be average I'd say. if they didn't remove nurmagedov vs melendez, it would be awesome tho

I am not really into UFC too much, but this one was rather boring IMO.

Faber's stoppage I thought was awful, and led to a big argument with people there watching on why is was right/dumb.

I am pumped to see Weidman vs Vitor! I also have 20$ riding on it haha.

Crazy too because I wrestled in HS, and Jon Jones was at a few big tournaments when I was younger obviously owning everyone.

Who are you picking in weidman vs belfort? Seems like the only big fight happening this year. the only really exciting fights that could happen beside that one this year imo would be jones vs cormier and aldo vs pettis. Also can't wait for chael to beat the crap out of wanderlei.

Weidman v Belfort is one I wouldn't want to try to pick at this stage - I'm ashamed to say the only Weidman fights I've actually seen are the two against Silva, and they didn't really give us much to go off. As for Belfort, there's the question of whether he'll be allowed to continue using TRT in the leadup to the fight, and how that will affect him.

Interesting how everyone is already writing off Jones-Teixeira as a Jon Jones win: don't get me wrong, I think he'll win too, but we all though that about the Gustaffson fight too. Just saying...

Aldo-Pettis (assuming the stars align and it actually happens) should be a great fight later this year, as should Hendricks-Lawler for the welterweight belt.

Hendricks will destroy Lawler....Id like to see Nick Diaz come back soon and fight Hendricks since Hendricks probably wouldn't run and fight to win a decision like GSP and Condit did against him.

I don't think Hendricks will destroy Lawler. Lawler's striking is really good, and as long as he doesn't get out wrestled too much by Hendricks, he'll definitely be in the fight the whole time.

Yeah, I think Hendricks-Lawler has the potential to be a really great fight. Definitely don't see it being one-sided.

But then nobody picked Ronda Rousey winning with striking last week either, so who knows what'll actually happen :p
