My team has really come together this year and are a playoff contender with 14 games left in the Regular Season coming off a success full western road trip i guess right now they are playing for a home spot in the Playoff picture when the regular season ends barring a major collapse at the end of the season GO Leafs GO :icon_blac

The Toronto Maple Leafs will do battle this afternoon with the Washington Capitals who are battling for a playoff berth in the eastern conference and are sitting in 10th place 3 points back of the Philadelphia Flyers for the 8th place and the final playoff spot should be a good game as the Capitals are no slouch at home with a 19 wins and 11 losses record Go Leafs Go :icon_blac

Watched this game the Capitals go up 3-0 in the first period leafs cut that lead to 3-2 at the end of the second but an empty net goal with seconds left seals the deal and the Washington Capitals win the game 4-2 up next for the Leafs a road game on Tuesday with the Detroit Red Wings who are also fighting for a playoff spot currently sitting in 10th place with 73 points 3 points back of the New York Rangers this game should be close Go Leafs Go :icon_blac

Not a good result last night at Joe Louis arena a 3-2 loss hoping the leafs can bounce back tonight as they have a home game against the Tampa Bay Lightning that Eastern Conference Playoff race is heating up the Leafs got too get back too there winning ways:icon_blac :smokin:

Leafs have lost 3 in a row last night a 5-3 loss they have 2 days off before facing a red hot Montreal Canadians at home hoping that Bernier can come back as Riemer is not getting the job done the Eastern Conference is getting real tight as the Leafs only have a 4 point cushion over 8th place Columbus Blue Jackets :argh: :icon_blac :smokin:

Yeah, big game tonight. They are back to full strength as soon as Bernier is back (tonight?). The time is now to gel for the playoffs.

Heard that also he is a 3 time Stanley Cup Champion with the Detroit Red Wings glad he's on board he knows what is needed for a Cup Contender although same was said about Brian Burke and that didn't work out too well:toilet:
