My picks are Jets, (of course!)
jets.gif
and the Vikings.

Colts have a one sided game by the name of Manning. They have nothing against the run and the Jets have a pretty good secondary. Manning won't be able to fire. The Jets will destroy them.

Hope your picks are right as Iam hoping for the same outcome.. I cant stand Indianapolis.. I hope the Jets line sacks Peyton Manning so hard they put a imprint of his big fat nose in the field..

I hope Indianapolis Colts make The NY Jets crash & burn! GO MANNING!!!:D

Favre has been quite good, but I'm sure the match-up will be close...but I hope it will be the Saints that go Marching over the Vikings!:D

I will take Brett all the way and I like the Cinderella story of the Jets for this year. Should make for a great Super Bowl

Todays games....hmmmm. Although it would be nice of the Jets to hand Manning and his pretenders a loss that they so deserve, Its probably not going to happen. With the three or four bad calls that the referees will make in favor of Manning , this one should be over before the first half comes to an end. The Jets just can't score, good defense, but no offense. If Manning does get the calls, which he always does, Indi will win 35-10.

The New Orleans/Minnesota game ought to be the best game of the weekend.
Minnesota is banged up, but definitely has heart enough to make it a good game. If the New Orleans offensive train gets a rollin', watch out. This has the makings of a high scoring shootout. If I have to pick, I say New Orleans wins 38-31.

New Orleans / Indianapolis Super Bowl, {thats how the NFL would like it.} ;)

Good Luck!

On the other hand, the (Surely You) Jests are 31st in the league in passing. But the Colts, being 24th against the rush, well... should make for a long but fascinating day. All I can say is both Jones and Greene better not get hurt, because they will each be double covered as it is. And Revis Island might be looking at a tsunami. Honestly have no personal interest in this game, but truly hope the Jets can pull it off, cuz I think Farve & Co will have a easier time squashing them. :D

Who dat? Who dat? Who dat under the purple pile? Why, it Drew Brees!

As much as we want the Jets to win, realistically, the Colts have like 90% equity in this game.

The other game is going to be much more exciting and much closer but I think Favre is going to pull it out.

That's a marginal call, at best...{sorry I had to.}:embarasse

Adrian Petersen is due for a fumble. I'm expecting the saints to end Farve's storybook season in a close game. Would love to see the Jets beat Indy - tho don't think they have a chance. :( So if I'm completely wrong a Vikes \ Jets superbowl wouldn't be half bad. :)

I don't see how the Jets can win the game, the Jets are clone of the Baltimore team: Good defense, good running game, very conservative passing offense, and their head coach is a former raven as well as a few players. And we all saw what happened to the ravens last week. Mark Sanchez will have to make big plays on the big stage on the road, which I am not sure he is capable yet.

As far as the other game goes, I think its a toss up but I'm going with the Vikings. It's just a gut feeling.

If things go as I expect, we will have the dream match up of Peyton Manning and Brett Favre in the superbowl.

The Jets backed into the playoffs. Indy could have easily beaten them in week 16 and chose not to try. Makes sense that nothing has changed. However, the money line on the jets looks juicy as could be. +320 last time I looked. I suppose anything could happen. It wouldn't be as big as the Giants beating the Pats a couple of years ago.

Just put $6.61 on the Jets to win $17.85 on bodog. $5 for the Vikings to win $8. $2 on Shonn Greene to win just $1.48. Prop bets for the Vikings will depend on whether or not Percy Harvin will play. Sounds pretty grim....

http://blogs.nfl.com/2010/01/23/report-harvin-travels-to-new-orleans-with-vikings/

“Man, I’ve tried everything, and nothing works,” said Harvin, who’s listed as questionable to play against the Saints. “I give up.”

The Colts thankfully won the first one. Maybe the Vikings can win the late game.

what a shit ending to the half... Reggie Bush coughs it up and Vikings take over inside the ten with less than a min to go in the half.. Then All Day AP coughs it back up and Vikings get no points out of it.. Killer
