Sports Betting Noob - Help

I'm going to be in Vegas for a long Superbowl weekend. Will be staying right across from Westgate. I was thinking of laying down a bet on the game for grins - but I need help.

The current line at Westgate is:
Point Spread:
-3 NE -120
+3 ATL 100

Total: 59 O/U o: -110 u: -110

Money Line:
NE: -165
ATL: +145

I've got $100 to throw at it.
Just for the sake of betting - I am looking at taking Atlanta and the Under.

Is that two $50 bets? And if Atlanta wins it's 1:1 payout on the point spread, and if the under hits, it's not quite 1:1 return?

Any suggestions?

Correct on the not quite a 1:1 return on the Under. Basically, you have to bet 110 to win a 100.

Haven't made up my mind on the winner yet but I kind of like the Over 59 Both teams will throw quite a bit.

Yes - if Atlanta wins or loses by 2 or less - you have a winner

if Atlanta loses by 3 - tie - check to see if you get back your bet with the book - some casinos win on a draw

if Atlanta loses by 4 or more - house wins

If I were a sports betting man, I would put money on the Pats to cover that 3. Like ribbybruno, I also think the over will win as well. I got the score going 35-30 for the Pats. Remember guys, I am not good on this so bet at your fair discretion. I did go 3-1, 3-1, and 1-1 in the playoffs this year so far afterall.

today i found an incredible odd in FA cup .Match was betwen Totenham -Wanderers (0-2)at this result had ~1,7 at a draw no bet.Belive it or not Spurs won in min 97 ......after min 85 was still 2-3 .I come to hate more & more UK championship..

Yes - as Ribby said, if you bet ATL+3 then Atlanta can actually lose the game and your bet can still win, as long as they don't lose by more than two points (if they lose by 3 it's usually a push but as Ribby says, check with the book first).

If the line moves to +3.5 by the way, then your bet will win as long as they don't lose by more than three (and there's no chance of a tie because of the half point).

If you just want to be on Atlanta to win straight out (the "money line") you'll actually get more than 1:1 on your bet ($122.50 payout on a $50 bet at those odds).

For your unders bet the payout would be about $95 on a $50 bet (again there's a possibility of a push if the total comes in at exactly 59)
