Here on the forum topics about bets on sports are very popular. I wanted to ask, what are your guidelines in choosing your bid?
1. Strictly only watch the games of your league.
2. You use statistics, you would like to know details: just before the game, or the last games, or the whole season, or something.
3. Whether you use the advice of capers, specialists from your sport, or what sites with clues, and the like.
4. Only intuition, do not load yourself with unnecessary information- bet on luck.
5. Something else not listed in paragraphs 1-4.

Yes they are very popular. Legend says they are even popular than random poker related thread ...

And i guess i partially use all these 5 guidelines (and many more either which you didn't even mention)

I usually bet on tennis. I watch the broadcast of the match, and follow the positions in the ranking of tennis players. Usually when I watch a live event, it is clearly visible in what form the player is and what kind of bet to make. I do not trust statistics. Intuition sometimes helps, but I don't often rely on it.

I always see the statistics and game history of the teams that are going to play, also position chart and results of the last 5 games

My favorite sport to bet on is college basketball, it seems like it is less followed than sports like the NFL or NBA and the "vig" is less than MMA.

Study human behaviour psychology then apply this knowledge to sport, try to target specific players you have "reads" on. High level skill that I don't have but its definitely a thing and will give you an advantage.

I saw this a number of years ago with Nadal v Federer games. Federer was going in as good to strong favourite but his body language wasn't good at all. Looked uncomfortable, forced into running around his backhand to hit forehand. Never had courage to lump bets on it at the time, but he had a great run against him at one point.

Usually only bet on games I've seen teams in soccer and most sports ,, is impossible to see every game but those who can not see what I do is see summaries and statistics ,,,, also betting the middle put hour before, I never get involved with a lot ahead of time

sometimes a day before some important game one of my favorite team I'm having a dream about the game result. But unfortunately it happens not so often. Till now it was every time the right prediction.

All of the above - any kind of data related to the sport you are betting on is relevant. I process as much info as I can watch or read in the time that I have. I like to watch ESPN live or online - Sportcenter is good to watch - NBA, NFL and MLB all have good channels during season. Colleges now have their own channels for information as well. Following along every day will really help.

I only bet MMA and I only do one Bet. I always seem to lose when I do a parlay or when I pick the BIGGER name fighter.

I wish 888bet could get more promotions to bet with. Like rizin and other organizations. Muay thai would be fun to bet with on 888.
