The only place I sportsbet is on pokerstars. They offer freebets constantly and I just make the minimum bet to get the free bet quite often using a random number generator to make my selections. I am up about 200 dollars with basically no sports knowledge. I just look for the lowest rake (quite often over/under or spread on basketball) I wonder...do all sportsbetting sites offer as many freebets as pokerstars? If they do by downloading a lot of sites you could make quite a bit of money even when clueless about sports. Probably if you knew something about the teams you could do even better. But how long will the sites keep on giving so many freebets I wonder?

So how many freebets pokerstars gives out monthly/weekly/daily basis ?!?
I'm pretty sure i've never even received one ...

Minimum bet, really? Min. bet on PS is 5 cents. I don't think you will get any freebet for that. They usually have a requirement of betting $5-10 on certain event or set of events like ChampLeague, top EPL/LaLiga/Bundesliga game, NBA/NHL playoffs etc. As far as I know they provide freebet offers once per 1 or 2 weeks. It might differ from region to region ofc. Yet, I don't think you will get a free bet for minimum stake bet anywhere, be it poker room offering sports betting or a regular online bookie.
The only thing you will regularly get on PS are 3-5 free spins when you make one minimum bet spin on a casino slot.

Every week I get at least 5 sportsbetting challenges and the minimum bet you have to place to get a free bet or free spin and go ticket is usually 5 dollars (it is sometimes 10). There is also the sports freeroll on Sunday where it is quite common to win a freebet of 5 10 or 20 dollars. When there is something like March madness I get offered more challenges. Maybe this is canada specific since it was only about a year ago that pokerstars opened up sportsbetting for Canadians.

What will happen most of the time is you don't know the games well enough to make informed decisions and you have to stay on top of what's happening every day.
And even if you know 1 game or even 2 then you won't get enough games since the seasons always come to an end or the books won't give you decent odds to play.
There a lot of days when I bet baseball where I like the pitching match ups but I'm not getting decent odds so even play when I finally get a good match up the odds prohibit me from playing so I can't bet.
Same thing in basketball or football. If I'm not getting close to 1:1 on my bets then I can't bet. There is no way in the world I'll bet with less odds, that's the fastest way to go broke where you have to win 4-5 bets where you win a total of 1 bet that you're risking.
Like if you're betting 10 per bet but can only win 1 per bet and have to win 10 times to win 10 is not a good way to bet is my point.
I just do it as a hobby and never a large amount where I care about losing the money. I just enjoy the games more when I have a little bit of money on the games.
And I'm just a break even sports bettor.
