The teams will have to prepare its players constantly because of this long period of nothing to do.

Teams should be at full strength which is unusual at this time of the season. I like the 5 subs - hope they keep it next season. I think the good teams will still be good, but some of the 'bad' teams may play really well if they got players back who were injured. Timing will be off for all teams, and some fitness will be shaky.

Life goes on? Of course, football will return in full. Of course, where football is, there are transfers.

But it is also naive to assume that the huge financial losses that are incurred in these days (weeks, months, how long will the pandemic last?) clubs of all countries, except for the cheerful Belarus, will pass without a trace for them. Clubs suffer huge losses from the loss of money for TV broadcasts. In their budgets in Europe, these amounts sometimes played a dominant role. We have it easier, but still. Series a reports the total losses in the amount of 450 million euros.

At the same time, clubs still pay players salaries, at least partially. Idle stadiums need to be maintained in full order, which is also not cheap. Stadiums in Europe, again, belong to clubs, not to regional authorities, as is often the case in Russia. Academies and specialist schools there are in each team. Children do not train now, but you can't expel employees and you can't deprive them of their salaries, the numbers are not the same, but the total is running up.

And everything should be ready to resume the training process in full at any moment when COVID-19 finally retreats.

It's like an early summer break for the players. They are ready to come back.

of course, it is bad. The usual way of things is broken. Some football players and teams in general were in good shape, waiting for Euro 2020 to prove themselves, and now it is unclear what will happen in a year, may be injuries or decline.
