The great Tiger Woods announced today that he will not be able to play in The Masters. He has only been able to play in 1 of the last 4 Masters. He has battled injuries this year, and only played in a couple events, with no success. He's now 41 years old and hasn't done anything in quite some time. Is it time for him to hang it up? I hope not...

The thing about golf is that you don't need to be the most athletic guy to win. The problem with Tiger is his mindset after dealing with all his problems. A junkie -no matter what his addiction is - after rehab is still a junkie. Does he really has the drive to be the best?

Back injuries are a nightmare. Most people never completely heal and continuously have flare ups. Tiger will be lucky to be able play in the Seniors Tour in a few years.

I was hoping to see him at Augusta. He always draws a big crowd. Was a great player until his body fell apart. He should play as long as he can tee it up.

Only he knows the reasons for not playing. He should only play when he is ready to come back at his best
