Having been 3-0 up at half time against Crystal palace the scousers threw away a big chance to taking the title.Looking like a city title now, can't see them losing their remaining games.United rumour is Louis Van Gaal will be at the game tomorrow and signing on as the new manager for next season. He starts working the the dutch national side on the 7th so United want to sort it out asap.Happy times to return to Old Trafford.

Can't beat seeing the decline of Man Utd. If you think a new manager is going to turn things around think again. Ferguson left that team in a right mess.
As for Liverpool, we are at this time, top of the league, with one game to go - granted City will win it but you wont get any Liverpool fans saying this has been a bad season.......unlike some at the other end of the east lancs road. Your team is in a proper mess and you won't be back any time soon. Now that's what I call a good season !!

there's going to be some proper investment in the playing staff for next season coupled with already world class talent! We'll be back amongst the the top 4 next season.Moyes was a disaster coming in,don't know fergie let the muppet through the doors.Under LVG tutelage we'll be back.as the scousers have been saying for the last 20 odd year "We'll win it next year"LOL

It'll be a dogfight next year again. The only two guaranteed to finish in the top 4 are Chelsea and City, purely because they can afford to spend buckets of money whenever they feel the need.

It'll be interesting to see who comes into United then who he brings in. Whoever comes in, it will take a while to gel a lot of new players into a team, especially playing against already strong and established team units like City, Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal, Everton who all understand how they are expected to play together.

The only thing in United's favor is having no European football.

Liverpool, Arsenal, City and Chelsea will all be expected to strengthen too with CL football coming.

Oh, and just BTW United went from 1967 to 1992 without a league title and that was without having to compete against mega-rich rivals but teams like Notts Forest, Ipswich, QPR, Derby, Leeds, Blackburn who all either won it or finished 2nd in that time.
