Could be any sport or even poker, fear is a big issue for me mainly in the golf game. Thinking a mind doctor could help me move on from chipping yips and throwing it all away with anxiety

Anyone else suffered from it ? And found a cure ? I'm working on mindwellness meditation at no seems to help but not a 100% fix

Just say: "We have nothing to fear but fear itself."

I think meditation could help. For me I just play anything for fun so failure is never getting in my head.

Try primed mind from the App store, you get a virtual coach to make you relax and do better. Fedor Holz is one if the person behind it. Ive tried a little for free (I think a lot of content is free) and its pretty good.

Well, with Poker, for a long time I had issues with bankroll Management. I was under-bankrolled, and then won too much too soon and was over-bankrolled and feared losing too much at higher stakes.

So, really what has been helpful for me is deciding my BRM in advance and sticking to it no matter what. So, even if I tilt or lose or fail or whatever I am at peace with the decision to do it within my BRM.

I'm not sure how this could transfer to other areas of life or sport. But essentially what I did was give myself permission to fail at certain stakes knowing it was the best long-term strategy for me after experience of not being okay at making mistakes or experimenting or putting too much pressure due to overly-aggressive or overly-cautious BRM.

Perhaps in terms of mindfulness, this is somehow focusing on the long-term positive outcomes of accepting short-term failures within the bigger picture progress. Like, accepting and recognising they will happen, and managing and having contingency for how they will happen so that you are okay when it does happen and don't fear it.

Chipping yips are often a result of poor technique... have you tried going to a swing coach? It might not be a complete mental issue, but a physical one

Alternatively, if you want to come to canada, my short game is impeccable... almost at a scratch level.
