100% agree Martin, the Tiger Woods of darts 🤞Have to say I used to watch a lot of darts but got bored of it. Then reading about and watching Littler in the world's has renewed my interest also, he's not far away from dominating darts for a very long time.
No fair play to the lad. I watched the final V Searle. Searle was impressive but Littler has that edge or X factor as they call it. Weird watching them with no crowdIv'e met Littler at last year's British open, no surprise to me, within a year he made the WC final, made the PL and just yesterday won his first pro tour event. He makes it look so easy, with very little effort. He will be a multimillionaire by the time he is 20, not bad for chucking a few darts.
Need a lot of composure and bottle to play darts. More so at the highest level, with huge stakes. There are loads of young lads that are talented, but struggle mentally, and they end up having to take the long road before they are ready. Littler not only has that natural talent, but the bottle as well, in fact he seem to thrive in that environment, that is what sets him apart. No fair play to the lad. I watched the final V Searle. The current format of Premier League Darts, the straight knockout system, is much better than the old one.
These mini tournaments are good and exciting.
His scoring is saving him until it doesn't. Seems to lose momentum in the semi finalLittler too weak on his doubles! Averages, roughly, one in three to hit! Nobody can match Barney at his peak on doubles. Barney had 60% strike rate over one premier leage season, ten years ago.
He needs to reset himself for single shot chances.
