So which four teams will be moving on?


Chiefs vs. Titans

One of my books had Ten+9.5 @ $1.95 (-105 for the Americans) so I put a unit on that just on principle as it (just) beats the Pinnacle vig-free price.

I'm not seeing a great deal of value in the lines otherwise, but player props is where I do the vast majority of my NFL betting so I'll no doubt have some action there closer to game time.


Sucky thing about this weekend is I'm a Saints fan and their game starts 8:30am Monday morning my time... and Monday is my first day back at work after the holidays. Gonna have to record the game and try to dodge spoilers for the whole day

Out of interest, what was the strategy here? So many of those bets cancel each other out...


If I'm reading this right, you need Bama to cover 3.5 or you're locked into at least a $50ish loss? And if any of of Buffalo, Carolina or Georgia lose in a blowout and fail to cover those teased lines things get pretty ugly too?

So again, I'm curious about the strategy here - any thoughts or comments on it?

I know some people do round-robin style parlays where if they really like a side in multiple games they'll place several parlays that have those bets in different combinations... but they're betting on the same side of each game (giving them a chance for all their parlays to win if they're right about every game). It's somewhat high risk, but it's also high reward.

But you've bet both sides of most of these games, guaranteeing that at least half of your parlays will lose. If the Panthers didn't back-door that cover you'd be guaranteed an overall loss. This strategy seems like it's high risk, but at best only medium reward. Any insights?
