With the playoffs beginning soon, who's your pick for the AFC and NFC?
The teams currently are:
AFC: Indianapolis Colts, San Diego Chargers, New England Patriots, Cincinnati Bengals, NY Jets, Baltimore Ravens
NFC: New Orleans Saints, Minnesota Vikings, Dallas Cowboys, Arizona Cardinals, Philadelphia Eagles, Green Bay Packers.
I honestly think it's wide open right now. The only teams that I'm sure won't win is NY Jets and Green Bay Packers. Well, here's my analysis:
For the NFC: Minnesota won't win because Favre struggles in the postseason. Dallas won't win because Tony Romo has yet to win a playoff game. Philadelphia is too inconsistent. New Orleans has been playing awful recently. That leaves Arizona. Why am I so hesistant to pick them to win. I'll take New Orleans to win and Arizona as a sleeper pick.
For the AFC: San Diego won't win because they choke in the playoffs. New England doesn't have a good enough defense to win. Cincinnati has been disappointing lately. Baltimore doesn't have a good enough offense to win. So, that leaves Indianapolis. I'll take Indianapolis to win and New England as a sleeper pick.

Well in the AFC my team is the Cincinnati Bengals so I hope they have a lot left in the tank but the Colts have my vote to finish first. In the NFC I like Brett Favre and the Vikings to go to the SuperBowl.

Perhaps I'll be a bit biased in terms of the Saints, but here's my predictions nonetheless:

AFC:

Wildcard:

Ravens vs. Pats - Ravens
Jets vs. Bengals - Bengals

Divisional:

Ravens vs. Colts - Colts
Bengals vs. Chargers - Chargers

Conf. Championsihp:

Chargers vs. Colts - Chargers

NFC:

Wildcard:

Eagles vs. Cowboys - Eagles
Packers vs. Cardinals - Packers

Divisional:

Eagles vs. Saints - Saints
Packers vs. Vikings - Packers

Conf. Championsihp:

Packers vs. Saints - Saints

Super Bowl XLIV:

Saints vs. Chargers

I would pick the Patriots over the Ravens in the AFC wildcard and the Vikings over the Packers and the Saints in the NFC (maybe even the Eagles over the Saints). Other than that I would be in complete agreement with KMC1828.

Who will win NFL Playoffs

I think Minnesota will come out of the NFC and Indianapolis will come out of the AFC to play each other in the Super Bowl. The old man, Brett Favre will take it down and then retire. Our at least that is what my heart would like to see.

Now if I were a betting fool, and I am. I like New Orleans and San Diego with the Saints pulling hte brass ring.:)

The AFC looks like it will be a toss up between Sandiego or Indianapolis. both are very good teams with good defenses. The NFC I would say either Minnasota or New Orleans. Minnesota has a great run defense. if they get beat its because Drew Breese will light them up in the air. Looking forward to the playoffs:D

Wildcard Weekend In The NFL

The NFL Playoffs start with what has become known as Wild Card Weekend. There will be 2 games on Saturday and 2 games on Sunday.

Today, the NY Jets play the Cincinnatti Bengals at 4:30 PM and the Eagles play the Cowboys at 8:00 PM.

Tomorrow, the Ravens play at New England at 1:00 PM and at 4:00 PM the Packers play at the Arizona Cardinals.

My picks are the Bengals, Cowboys, Patriots and and Packers.  ;)

I'll just do my wildcard pics:

Ravens vs. Patriots - Patriots
Jets vs. Bengals - Jets

Eagles vs. Cowboys - Eagles
Packers vs. Cardinals - <sigh> I've gotta go with my Cardinals.

I basically think the Colts will win the AFC divisional against San Diego, and although I would love to see the Cards run the table again this year, I think that the Saints will find their groove and go to the big dance.

Me neither. I thought this game was a lock for sure with the Bengals winning and I picked the eagles to win too. 0-2 so far lol.
Tomorrow I got the Patriots and Packers winning.

lol the ravens pats should be a good gm. ray rice is a very good rb along w/ mcgahee. i live in mass and i actually do think the ravens hv a very good shot at winning this gm. i dont think its the patriots yr with the defense not playing well at all and the injury of wes welker is big. i think either team who wins will lose to sd but i think the ravens would hv a better chance this yr. gl and enjoy the games!:icon_bigs

I'm a huge Pats fan. This should be a very good game today and looking forward to it. The last couple of years I was getting pretty bored of watch the Pats just walking over people. So I'm very happy to see that this season has been interesting to say the least. With Wes down and out there going to have to change the whole game plan for Elderman. << Welker #2

GREENBAY VS ARIZONA

Im geeked up for this 1! Should be one hell of an offensive show today folks....Yesterdays games were garbage and not even close but today i think the nfl gets it right. We can only hope for a bay VS sota matchup to see who will represent the NFC.I suppose arizona will have something to say about that though. For the CC users that love the NFL i hope you have a great day watching the games.

Packers/Cardinals - Packers
New England/Baltimore - New England
Minnesota/Cowboys- Cowboys
Packers/Saints - Packers
New England/San Diego - San Diego
Jets/Colts - Jets
Packers/Cowboys - Packers
Jets/San Diego - San Diego

And the Packers will beat San Diego in the SuperBowl. Then again, I'm a Packer fan, so maybe it will be the Cowboys and San Diego in the SuperBowl.
