It's not Mahomes rookie year, or he'd be a lock for MVP. It would be cool to see the Chiefs and the Rams square it off in the super bowl this year, which at this point of the season looks as if that's a possibility. Playoffs are a different story, as the Patriots seem to step up their "cheatin" game. LOL The chargers have a good defense and might surprise a few folks, but there aren't too many teams with the "defense" to win a championship...although it seems that if you can out score your opponent it doesn't matter how "much" defense you put up, it's the fact of was it "enough" for the matchup that week? Brady will play another couple years and fade away...finally :) The new breed QB is emerging as the norm for the NFL...mobility, ability to throw on the run, ability to scramble and of course durability, which is usually based on "luck"...look at what happened to Carr right before the Raiders would have made a move to get into their first super bowl in awhile. Freak injuries can certainly dampen a players career in the NFL.

Mahomes - Rookie of the Year

Gurley - MVP

How about Saints Vs Pittsburgh - LA Rams Vs Houston - Chiefs vs Washington or Chargers vs Bears

Wildcards - Minnesota, Dallas, Seattle in NFC - Miami, Cincy, LA Chargers and Tennessee in AFC

Lots of possibilities right now. Should be an exciting finish!

Barkley should get Rookie of year for NFC...MVP is up for grabs, Kamara?>>>Gurley>>>Brees? I don't think Mahomes is considered a Rookie this year, so it's a toss up for Rookie of year in AFC. Depending on how far the Chargers go, I think Rivers has a shot at MVP...Mahomes also. Some great players emerging this year and standing out as future stars of the NFL! Great Quarterback drafts the past couple of years. :)
