Pre-season Hall of Fame Inaugural Match:

Pittsburgh v Dallas (Dallas (Match Winner) 1.95)

My heart tells me we’re going to win, but the Steelers are a bit more likely.
We'll see what happens, so I want to see the team in the playoffs.

GO Cowboys! :star:

I wish good tips to all betmates! ::D

The Hall of Fame interviews were more exciting than the game. :)

Preseason week one provides some opportunity in totals with teams that are likely just trying to gauge new talent and are not concerned with winning the match.

I composed a parlay which I like and also took each selection straight.

My best bets:

Accumulator (4)

1 Bet(s) x $15.00 @ +1071
Stake: $15.00 Returns: $175.70

For warming up!

My pick this week:
New England v Washington (Washington (Match Winner) 1.85)
Philadelphia v Pittsburgh (Pittsburgh (Match Winner) 1.88)
Tampa Bay v Cincinnati (Match winner Tampa Bay 1.31)
Arizona v Dallas (Arizona (Match winner) 1.70)
Las Vegas v Seattle (Las Vegas (Match Winner) 1.63)

Preseason, so anything can happen, but that’s what I chose.

It hit. One leg pushed at Stars so payout was reduced but I won with a more favorable line elsewhere. Pre season week one unders rock. We had 13 unders and 2 overs. Expecting totals to come down and looking for some overs with certain teams week 2.

Another strategy I will be using in week 2 is to go under pre flop in games I expect to start quietly and when the total drops dramatically, try to middle with a live over bet.

We had 13 unders week 1 pre
We had 8 unders week 2 pre

I generally stayed with games that I thought would go under and did well. Mainly because Bet Cris had higher totals than other books. I did take HOU/DAL 1st half over and cashed. Hit some more parlays too.

I missed on NYJ/GB un 36 but I got the best of the number early as this dropped to 31 by kick. After the first score I pressed under the new higher live total hard and that panned.

As we enter the final week of preseason, week 3, pay attention to who will start and how long they will play. Some teams dont care about winning in pre and week 3 will be no different. Totals will be low. Look for solid first half over matchups as you just dont know what the second half will bring.

It used to be Philly would play no starters in the final pre season game and were a bet against in the final game for the last few years, but they have a new coach which often brings a new philosophy.

https://twitter.com/AdamSchefter
is valuable as he often relays what the coaches intentions are. You will get useful info by checking his Twitter Feed before you bet.

Regarding NFC East futures, keep in mind the NFC east is scheduled to play each other the last 5 weeks of the season this year. You will likely get a better picture and better odds just prior to this.

Watched odds in Week 1 ... Although some over lines were quite close for being (too) low (even) for my standards then i decided to go with some team totals instead :dontknow:

Lions vs 49ers: Lions over 17.50 @1.90
Rams vs Bears: Bears over 17.50 @1.90

Then I'll start guessing the season:

Atlanta v Philadelphia (Philadelphia (Match Winner) 2.38)

Buffalo - Pittsburgh (Less than 46.5 (Score 46.5) 2.10)

Carolina v NY Jets (NY Jets (Match Winner) 2.78)

Detroit v San Francisco (San Francisco (Match Winner) 1.26)

Houston v Jacksonville (Jacksonville (Match Winner) 1.64)

There are surprise results in it, unexpected tips, but the season is starting, now I’m still bold.

I already have a sizeable bet on the Buffalo Bills to win the Super Bowl at +1200.

:)

Let's Go Buffalo!

Anyone else liking Jacksonville -145 vs Texans?

That and the Giants/Broncos U41.5 I think will be my Week 1 plays.

Though I always go small in Week 1.

The Cowboys and Dak will be crushed by the Tampa Bay D Line. Take TB and give the points -8. I Predict TB by 13+.

Idk... if the line creeps up to -9 I might go for Cowboys. It will be an exciting game for sure and a lot rests on Dak.

Chico has the line at 9.5 now.

I'm taking the Cowboys +9.5 with my first pick of the season. :)

And Dak Prescott over 294.5 Passing Yards @ +125 is my 2nd bet of the season. :)

I am going to take Tampa Bay -8.5 tonight in the Opener.

Bucs 4-0 ATS in their last 4 Home games
Bucs 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games.
Cowboys 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games on grass.
Cowboys 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games in September

I definitely like TB to win by a touchdown, -7 or -7.5 I'd take but near 9 I'm tempted. I don't know if its a trap either.

I look at some historical stats too but idk how relevant they are on new season opener. I believe defending super bowl team is 14-2 ATS too or that could be moneyline.

Lots of unknown this game but goodluck!

What a game! Nice way to start the season for both teams in my opinion.
