So the Nevada State Athletic Commission finally banned testosterone replacement therapy for MMA fighters, and less than 24 hours later, Vitor Belfort has pulled out of his scheduled title fight against Chris Weidman at UFC173. He'll be replaced by Lyoto Machida:

Very important step in the continuing growth of the sport IMO, and something that other commissions will hopefully follow suit on. What's everyone else's thoughts?

If other states and countries like canada and brazil ban TRT, that would be awesome for the sport. Vitor needs to get used to not being on TRT, so I'm not surprised he backed out.

I'm glad Machida is getting the opportunity instead of Belfort. Belfort reminds me of one of those juiced up WWF wrestlers back in the 90s lol. Machida deserves the shot IMO
