NCAA Football Betting Thread

Anyone here bet college football? I’ve been doing ok so far. Unfortunately I tend to give it back on Sundays and Mondays betting on the NFL. I’m only betting a minimal amount to give me a reason to watch games I wouldn’t normally watch. I will start posting my picks this week so you all can follow along. Cool thread! I wager week to week on College football! This week was a wash for me 2-2-1. BYU got stomped on Friday night and lost VT to a real good NDame team. ** Note - Irish can run and score! Won barely with NC State and Colorado played well again. Kentucky tying the spread.

I threw some units on these games -

LSU (+7 ) @ Home vs Georgia - Tigers took a beating last week to the Gators in Florida. The #2 Bulldogs should be more than enough motivation for the swamp to be rocking!

Oregon (+3.5) @ Home vs Washington - This is the game to decide the Pac 12 race imo. Whoever wins this game should have smooth sailing to the Rose Bowl!

Illinois (+10.5) @ Home Vs Purdue - Both teams have identical records! Spread too large in my opinion.

Virginia (+7) @ Home Vs Miami - Cavaliers not bad home dog vs Hurricanes.

USTA (+10.5) @ Home vs LA Tech - Roadrunners 2-0 at home and are pretty tough in San Antonio.

Wisconsin (+10) @ Michigan - This should be a real test for the Wolverines! Badgers being given too many points in my opinion. Good battle!

Colorado (+7) @ Southern Cal - Trojans have a young QB who is untested! Buffaloes are a pretty decent squad.

Nevada/Boise St OVER 61 - These 2 teams like to light up the scoreboard together!

Due to work schedule overload, I’m posting this now. Games are already over, but here is what I bet today. Did well!

Iowa State +6.5 = WIN
Boston College -13.5 = WIN
Duke +2.5 = WIN
Northwestern/Nebraska OVER 59 =WIN
Washington U -3.5 = LOSS

UP 3 units on the week

Came up 3-5 on the week. Nevada/Boise St had 58 points combined going into the 4th quarter. 61 was the OVER and both teams laid a goose the rest of the way. Boo!

[Synopsis]

That's is the story of my weekend. Was just a strange ncaaf weekend overall to begin with. Not a lot of teams have played their games consistently this year, even the bad teams. All vallies and peaks performance wise, makes for hard capping.

Take TCU (-16) over KU. TCU rolls this week, specifically their defense which was embarrassed last week

Take KState (+21.5) over Oklahoma. My Wildcats normally play Oklahoma tough. 8-10 over the last 18. One year Snyder took the Cats in and knocked OU out of #1 spot. Wildcats have found their QB and their defense is good. I think Oklahoma pulls away late and wins by 14-17 pts

Take Penn State (-9) over Iowa. Iowa is a shell of its former self and the Nittany Lions are hungry again and at home


Take California (+13.5) over Washington and California winning is my upset special
Most of Washington's wins have been by less than 14 pts in the Pac 12 and California has put up points at home
