The NBA decided it was about time they get some headlines from ESPN and Fox, so they decided to join the NFL in a Lockout.

Tired of losing millions in a system that has guaranteed players 57 percent of revenues, they want an overhaul that would allow small-market teams to compete with the big spenders, and all of them to make money.

So guys, what's your take? Are we going to have Basketball this year? Who will end their lockout first NBA or NFL?

Probably the NBA but I think both will take a long ass time before either of them can make an agreement that's good for both the owners and the players.

I think it's time for professional dodgeball to come up and take the NBA and NFL's spots!

football is definitely going to happen, even if we miss a few games.

as for basketball i could definitely see at least half the season lost which would be a shame.

Saw a news report stating that the owners are looking for a 40% salary cut across the board within 3 years. If that's true the NBA is in big trouble.

Rockets' Yao Ming will retire. Too bad he always got injure and never got the chance to perform to his potential.

New Jersey Nets guard Deron Williams is planning to play in Turkey in the fall if the NBA lockout has not yet been settled.

Williams' deal will be for one year and $5 million, sources told ESPN The Magazine's Chris Broussard.

Besiktas coach Ergin Ataman told the New York Times that the team also has an agreement with Atlanta Hawks center Zaza Pachulia.

Ataman told the newpaper Besiktas isn't done chasing NBA players.

"If there's a possibility, we'll talk with Kobe (Bryant) if he'd like to play in Europe with Deron and with other guys to play we can talk with him," Ataman said. "If Kobe would like to play with us, we will also contact his agent and maybe with him."

Roger Mason Jr., a vice president with the players' union, told Newsday late Thursday that Knicks stars Carmelo Anthony and Amare Stoudemire have inquired about the rules and insurance information regarding playing overseas.

"I've talked to a lot of the star players, Chris Paul, Amare, Melo, I think that those guys are open-minded to everything," Mason told Newsday.

Can you imagine the frenzy if all these guys play for 3-6 weeks overseas....

Hearing that Williams is playing overseas doesn't really matter to me at all. I wouldn't care either about any other stars. I would only pay attention if it was someone like Melo or Amare on the Knicks, because I'd be concerned they would get hurt for no reason.

I'm excited to see some Euro Ball though, don't know teams but really it could be cool to see Euros and NBA players playing together.

She is one of Flavor Flav leftovers ...so do the math!! I read in the comment area of this post a very good one:

"I feel sorry for her next boyfriend. In the immortal words of Stewie Griffin, it’s gonna be like “throwing a hotdog down a hallway”
