NASCAR Denny Hamlin Injury

Driver #11 Denny Hamlin suffered a spine injury this last weekend at Auto Club Speedway, I'm not a physic's major but that incline at the bottom of the track makes me cringe, I think the jarring motion that had to have caused is what ultimately caused the injury.

On a side note these new cars can race this was one of the most exciting races in a long time, best race this particular track has ever held.

Yeah the race was amazing and I couldn't believe that as they were wheeling Hamlin away on a stretcher Logano was telling a reporter that Hamlin "got what he deserved"! Someone should have been in his ear telling him to tone it down until they knew how badly Hamlin was injured.

Denny will be out for 6 weeks according to sources, and Mark Martin will drive in his place. Joey shouldn't of made the comments til he knew Denny was okay I agree but at the same time I'm surprised with the way Denny drives sometimes it's taken this long for him to get hurt.

Agreed Denny does this stuff too himself and then always whines about everyone else...he has never been a good teammate i dont see why gibbs hasnt shown him the door yet

I found the interview he did with Marty Smith really interesting he openly said, "I don't blame Joey for my injury," but he then went on to say, "Joey said after the race that, "Denny will be fine these cars are safe." but anyone who disregards the safety of their peers is going to find out the hard way." First thing I can say I agree with Denny on, if Joey's mentality is who cares if I spin someone they will be fine, that isn't good and he will end up getting hurt too sooner or later with that mentality, Denny does seem to be quite humbled by all this I hope it sticks, and he can turn his mentality around. I will always pull for anyone who is genuine, so if he changes his tune I'll happily cheer him on.
