Beltre just got a 6 yr deal worth 96 million.....

the guy is a career .275 hitter and avg's 25 hrs but hes 32 yrs old with only at most 3-4 more productive years

Don't think Crawford is that much overpaid..... Jayson Werth and Beltre - that's another story, guess the Rangers didn't know what happen to Beltre the last time he got a huge contract.

Beltre played really well for the Red Sox last season -- hitting .321 just 40 or so points above his lifetime average. Its interesting that he did it in the last year of his contract with Boston. But given his age and the 6 year duration of this contract with Texas, I agree he is clearly being overpaid.
