Just wondering who everyone on here was pulling for this week? I would like to see Bubba go back to back or even see Phil get another. With that said i think Tiger is playing great golf and is gonna be hard to beat.

There would be nothing better for golf than Tiger getting another Major.

He seriously needs a major. That #1 isn't so shiny without a major.

I think the way he has putted as of late he is gonna be hard to handle at Augusta National. If he continues to putt the way he has he will be hard to beat all year long.

Its hard to bet against Tiger but all its gonna take is one player playing really good golf to put up a score to beat. Im excited to see how the 14 yr old will do. Dont think he'll do that good but would nice to see him make the cut.

If Lee Westwood could putt he would be my bet.

Sergio Garcia & Marc Leishman tied for the lead so far after day 1.

I'd like to see KJ Choi do well, always liked him.

I would love to see Tiger grab another green jacket. Bubba is not in a great spot after day one so not sure a back to back is in the cards.

I think everyone would love to see Tiger win again.

Is it just me or was golf better when he was getting laid and all that stuff???

tbh, it all depends on the gap. Its bad for golf in the long run if all everyone is interested in is Tiger Woods.

Tennis is going to have a similar problem with the likes of Fed, Nadal and Djok get too old cause ratings will be down.

Also what ever happened to the courses where everyone was over par. Granted it isnt normally a Master's occurrence but I just love when +4 wins a tournament

You usually only see that in the US Open. The British Open has a good share of over par players as well.

I believe the last two pro golf tournaments to be won by an above par score were both US Opens...
Edit: sorry shadow didn't see your post till after...

Fred Couples in the clubhouse at five under after two rounds is great! I would love to see Freddie pull one out the hat but i think Saturday at Augusta is gonna take its toll on alot of players. Its still wide open though and that makes for a great Masters!

Tiger smacked the pole on 14. Knocked it right in the WH.

can someone do me a favour and find somewhere that will show the average time per shot for Guan compared to others at the masters. I mean I see a lot of ppl losing their mind over this and while I think its pretty odd for them to assess the rule now since its basically never in play, I just want to make sure he really is that slow before jumping to judgement of the PGA.

What put it into play was that his whole crew was out of position. This started the clock on the whole crew (individually). He was warned once, before they took the stroke.

That's why the whole clock issue even presented itself. Somehow, they got out of position.

yea I know that and thats fine

but no one ever gets the stroke penalty. Like I want to know how much worst he was compared to other slow players just to ensure it was properly assessed.
