It is becoming increasingly clear that City will have to act decisively next summer. As so often happens with great teams that have won it all, the club may have waited too long to part ways with some of the players who have played such a vital role in their success.City’s board are well aware that they will have to switch off their emotions and make tough but rational decisions. This may involve some of the core players – Ederson, Kyle Walker, Kevin De Bruyne, Jack Grealish – who were at the heart of the Guardiola era’s happiest moments. There is a sense within the club that they may have mistakenly identified 2025 as the time to rebuild, rather than doing more last summer to speed up the process. There is some regret, for example, that Walker was not dumped sooner.

City bought well and had success with a top quality team but a team that wasn't young, key injuries at crucial times have found them to be exposed and if anything, it has shown their over reliance on Rodri,
This summer will indeed see them spend big again but first the 115 charges issue needs to be resolved, for now - they have brought in some decent players (not sure about Khusanov just yet though).

It is normal that a team that is so dominant for a long time has its time of absences, Guardiola is still getting used to the important absences he has had, they are suffering a lot in defense but it is a great team and I know that they will dominate English football again since they have many world-class players

I think they will make Top 4, and it appears that there will be 5 spots on the CL league next season!!

What crisis are we talking about now? Manchester City is a very solid team, but you have to realize that the level of teams in the English Premier League is getting higher and higher every year. Being knocked out of the Champions League by Real Madrid can't be called a crisis either. Pep Guardiola is a great coach, but this season he has worthy rivals.
