Lucky start to my Premier League betting project
I've never been a serious sports better, and had not placed a bet in over 10 years until last week.
Last week I learnt about Poisson distribution models for football predictions and built myself one in excel. Also learnt a bit about value betting concepts, as well as 'bad each ways' in horse racing.
The real goal was trying to be active doing things other than poker with my 888 account in order to try to unlock elite / better gift drops. But I figured if I was going to bet to at least have a plan and do it wisely.
Had very little luck on the horses but only a minor loss after a week, still tweaking my system. Today was the first test of the football predictions though, and wow, what a start!
