Seriously crappy day for Ind fans. Peyton is a 1st or 2nd ballot HOF'er hands down and even if only functioning at 90% is still top 5 of QB's in the NFL.

I am not surprised either. Will be interesting to see which team takes a gamble on him.

I'll never understand why hard working 40hr a week Americans grafters idolize a lucky shmuck who can throw a ball and earn more in a few months than they earn in a lifetime.

As a die-hard Colts fan, I am VERY interested to see what team he goes to. Of course, I really wish he never had an injury and stayed with the colts. But I do understand the decision making by Indy, 28 mil would have done more than keeping Peyton. All I hope for is a successful career with his future team, really looking forward for confirmed results though. My eyes are definitely open for this one.

Well, it looks as though he won't be going to the Redskins, as they make a huge trade of drafts to get the second pick of this years draft, QB Robert Griffin III. Then the Jets give Mark Sanchez a 3 year extension, so no Peyton there. The Jets actually scared me, being a Pats fan, because with a better QB, they could be dangerous. He's now off to Denver or Arizona or Miami

Do you know when the final decision will be made? I am on my tip-toes for this one for sure. I think of those 3 teams, I'd rather him go to the Cardinals.

Lol Redskins better hope RG3 is the next big thing or they just screwed their next 10 years over.

On the bright side though, Redskins and Saints will have same number of picks in draft for next 3 years, at least they're getting RG3 lol.

Colts fans have it made. They get to go from 1 hall of famer QB to the best prospect since John Elway. And they didn't even earn it.

Rams got 3 first rounders and a second rounder for the #2 pick. What do you think the Colts could've got for the #1, and still have Peyton at QB? I think I'm gonna be sick.

What about the $28 million he is owed if they kept him? I realize he is an icon and that quite honestly, he built Lucas Oil Stadium, but there comes a time when you have to cut ties, and in the long run, it will be for the best. There is no way to ever know if RG3 or any other highly drafted QB is worth it. Some of the best have been found way down in the draft. I can only imagine how bad it sucks for Indy fans right now, but it will get better, just not soon.

Looking like Arizona, Denver or Miami at this point for Peyton. Going to be very odd seeing him in one of those uniforms.

I doubt he'll go to Miami and risk having to play in that division against those teams. Probably Arizona or Denver for sure, leaning towards Denver I'd think.

Denver definitely makes the most sense. I think Arizona has the easiest division, but good god neither them or the Dolphins can protect a QB, they were 2nd and 3rd worst teams in sacks allowed last season behind only the Rams. Even with that quick release, Peyton needs to go somewhere where the line can hold a block.

AFC West is way easier to win than the NFC West with the way things are shaping up. The 49ers are looking to be solid again for next year and the Cardinals went 7-1 down the stretch if I remember right. Add in StL which has nowhere to go but up and I'd pick AFC W over NFC W any day of the week if I was Peyton.

I think Tennessee or Miami . Not sure of a good fit in Denver, with the temperatures and the thin air. If I had to bet money, and I'm not, I would say Miami. I don't think he needs to prove anything, anymore, to anyone. He is a first ballot lock for the HOF and obviously doesn't need the money, but is just too young to get away. JMO though.

But he knows that all the Raiders need is a QB to be Superbowl bound.
