Did anyone else watch the lesner ufc not along ago? Not that I really called it a fight but ,some may have .I thought for someone that big he was such a wuss.lol Not saying I could do anything against except run ,but it made me laugh to see him get embarressed. Glad to see hes retiring!

You mean the UFC 141 fight with Alistair Overeem that happened over a year ago?

I'm at best a casual observer of UFC but yeah I thought the fight itself was disappointing - wasn't really surprised to hear him retire immediately afterwards since it didn't really look like his heart was in it and given how quickly he returned to the WWE afterwards... yeah, you've got to wonder.

I think his retirement was something of a blow for the UFC though, given what a huge mainstream drawcard he was.

That actually was quite a while ago. Overeem is a beast. I didn't think Lesnar would last vs him unless he managed to get it to the ground. Kinda disappointed when he retired though I think with some more actual fight experience he could have remained a strong force in the UFC.

I only know him at WWE. If he's not strong enough for somebody, I swear I haven't a strong man then. *meanwhile, this is me googling Lesnar at UFC* :)

N'yeah... strength isn't so much the issue when a 265-pound monster kicks you in the liver :p

After his bout with diverculitus, he should have never stepped back into the cage. That took so much out of him.

Probably true - at least the second time. The Carwin fight after his first bout of diverticulitis was a decent showing (I haven't actually seen the Velasquez fight that followed).
