Not sure if any of you tuned into the Triple Crown this year, but I was following the 3-year-olds up until the Derby and bet on Good Magic. When I saw Justify's win that day & on the day of the Preakness I definitely figured he'd win the last race as well. However, I didn't see his early retirement coming. I thought the owners would put him in the Breeders' Cup at least. I heard he had an injury and they don't want to take any chances but I feel that he could've had a longer career than just a few months. Disappointing, but he has been exceptional and will have a great stallion career.
